If you aren't a regular #omnimaga IRC user and found this board, then welcome already. Else, I'm announcing Omnimaga will go public soon. I just need the time (and more free days) to fix some issues and re-add most files to the download section as well as create sub forums for staff projects before we go public, so we have at least some content when we do.
I am also currently hiring new staff (mostly TI programmers) at the moment, to fit open positions since a lot of the old staff no longer program for calculators or are MIA.

As you can see, we're using Simple Machines now. I decided this because I do not feel like using Invisionfree anymore due to poor service and I don't want to use Invision Power Board 1.3 because unlike the Invisionfree's IPB 1.3 the official and unmodified one is filled with security exploits. I don't like PHPBB and I don't want to pay for IPB 2.x, which isn't much secure either, nor VBulletin, so my best choice for a professional CMS or forum system was SMF. I also got able to add a download system mod, which will allow me to get rid of the old forum-based download sections. I am also looking for a way to have a portal as main page that list lastest news.
