i think toxiczero comment was directed toward what was said in the logs in the first post, according to our msn convo earlier. Kevin kofler is just a troublemaker, like the other people in tigcc (except mathstuf and liazon), he's not worth listening to, plus when you will submit Day 5 to ticalc.org I'm sure it will be greeted with a front page news and nice comments. If there are bad comments I'm sure I'll recognise the nicknames from the #tigcc channel

On a side note what happened yesterday is nothing compared to what kevin kofler did on TI-Gen, yAronet 68k forum (which he was banned from, as well as the entire yaronet server). I yet have to find a term worse than flame war to describe it. He made lot of ppl leave the 68k community in the past and I really dont want to see this happen again.

Stick with us alex, and if you need help I'm sure somewhere there will always be ppl willing to help out, and btw on yAronet even though there is lot of spammers here and TI-Bank you can ask help in english even if its a french forum and some ppl will be able to help ;)wink.gif

I don't know if I want to give Kevin K. the time of day the way he is acting in this. The Interenet is a land of free speech, and I think that is someone wants to post something, they should have every right to unless it breaks a copyright law or something. I think these logs are crucial to the understanding of this entire situtation here, and I agree that bfr was unfairly banned from the channel. I also think the banning people for being Omnimaga members is a tad bit out of line, if this stuff happened, some of us get caught in the middle, and people never think of them. I think though that if Kevin K. wants to be stuck up, then I am going to make a note that if I ever get a 68k that I will not use TIGCC.

well i wouldnt boycott tigcc cuz it isn this own program, lot of other programmers worked hard on it. I personally would use tigcc if I got a 68k and learned C, I would just not come on tict board or #tigcc/#tigen channel

I didn't want this to become a huge deal, but since it already has....

Some of you may not like Kevin Kofler, but other people worked on http://tigcc.ticalc.org/about.html as well.  I don't hate Tyler2, Kevin Kofler, or any of the other people at #tigcc.  They have helped me a lot with TIGCC C programming.  They just have their own feelngs toward TI-BASIC and xlibman, which I don't not agree with.  Just note that they aren't really bad people; they can just be harsh towards people for certain things, and they just particularly don't really like TI-BASIC programmers for some reason, according to xlibman.  I was kick-banned for breaking a rule that I didn't know about, or as Kevin Kofler put it, "espionage".  It apparently was listed, and I should have payed attention to it.  I can understand how Kevin Kofler would be upset.  I told Kevin Kofler that I wouldn't do anything like this again and I apologized; I don't hate him, #tigcc, or TIGCC, and I wouldn't try to put #tigcc, TIGCC, or him down.

Cheeseboy was wondering why xlibman disliked Kevin Kofler and some of the people at #tigcc, and xlibman said something like "because they are rude and hate me because I like basic".  So, I showed him, and xlibman, some of the things they were saying.  Somebody else who I will not name was doing something similar, and I'm guessing he queried Kevin Kofler and quoted " bfr showed me the logs" or something like that.  Just so he knows, if that is the case, I don't hate him either.  He was just trying to make sure everybody stuck to the rules.

I would just like a second chance at #tigcc.  I'm not going to do anything like this again, and I didn't mean to break any rules in the first place.

I probably would have more to say, but I can't remember it at the moment, so I'll just post what I have so far :Ptongue.gif.

Nevermind, I think it'd be better for that post to go away. Resorting to nationality insults would only sink me lower than them I guess. (but they're so tempting ;)wink.gif)
