Oooh! We've got ourselves a man on the inside! How exciting! I wasn't aware of this. Too bad confidentiality agreements prevent him from releasing stuff to us sometimes. I bet his programs are amazing! I haven't really looked at any stuff he's written that I know of.

By the way, am I right in thinking that because this is an 84+ SE that it will support assembly natively? Do we know that kind of thing yet?

@DJ_O I wasn't planning on doing any censoring. More like locking from topics or banning if necessary, and I would have consulted a more senior admin before doing anything. Thanks for looking out though.

Yep, having an NDA doesn't mean "working".

And as said before, if we were on TI's side and hypocritical as Mic constantly says in order to decrease our reputation, we wouldn't publish anything about Ndless or "hacks" for example.

To make it clear : We post on everything we can know and discover by ourselves as if we didn't have any NDA information.
So when we make news etc., we post the exact things the way anybody else could have done since we're only taking into account public information or self-discovered knowledge (or sometimes, things that TI allowed us to, which were private before).

Actually I don,t think critor does programs for TI. It's more that they got to know some stuff in advance. For example about future Lua stuff, the Nspire stuff, and they even got to visit TI headquarter in Dallas, Texas once. They are under a non-disclosure agreement so they are not allowed to reveal anything, but that helps bridging the gap between the TI community and Texas Instruments in some ways.

The only thing I don't like about being on TI side is that TI-Planet has fewer pro-Casio Prizm-related news, but that's not too bad I guess, since there are already established Casio sites like Planète-Casio out there. :P

We're not against Casio news, but we're still asking ourselves where to put them ;)

Most of the posts with fights and other unrelated information have been moved elsewhere.  Please keep on topic, and if there's a problem, discuss it privately and not in public on this news post.

I truly hope that this calculator comes to the US and Canada

Hmm Hot Dog did you leave them public, though? Else the problem is that members won't even see what Mic has done. You should post a link to them in case somebody is banned and people want to know why that they know.

Also I was writing a translation of the fight and was planning to post it in response to the appropriate discussion. Now this has gone to waste. :/
EDIT THanks for the link.

EDIT: The 83 Plus is no longer listed on the Asia website! O.O

Does anyone know if this is going to be released in the USA and or Canada?  It would be nice to have a mini 84.

Yeah, that would be nice if it would be released here in USA/Canada. (Which have a lot of chances to be the case I think.)

I'd love to see this released in the US, but I still plan to seek one out regardless(if possible). :)
