we can hope pianoman. I not sure I'll trust them yet though. they have done too much bad recently

That's true... this could very well be a PR stunt to get us to shut up about the 3.0.1 bugs.

I liked 3.0.1 excpt for the bricking bugs and no ndless. It had nice 3d graphs LUA

Iloved the 3d graphs. before we had games they wwere good entertainment during math/science/other classes my teachers wouldn't complain about my calc in. One time in my English class my teacher confiscated my calc

No, if you TNOC'ed it you should be safe. I do not recommend OS 3.0.2, though, as I do not know if it's possible to downgrade from it yet.

Also I'm about to post a news about what Critor said above soon.

Apart from the whole bricking thing and the downgrade protection, is there a discernable difference between 3.0.2 and 3.0.1?
I'm hoping to be able to avoid having the school upgrade my calc's OS.

there are some bug fixes with higher level math functions, and TI's new protection of LUA

I'll just sit and wait, watching for TI's next move.
They will only be actually dev-friendly when they liberate the C programming for the nspire, with official support and a free SDK: that would be the cherry on the top of the cake. ;)
