TI buys Omnimaga

At T^3 2014, we had a lot of opportunities to talk with Peter Balyta, new president of TI Education. As we reported to our last news, Balyta was very interested working with the community. Therefore, we are announcing today Texas Instruments will be buying Omnimaga.

We at Omnimaga have the community at heart and it will be a pleasure collaborating with TI to bring you the best programs for TI calculators.

More details later, but rest assured it's for the good of the community!

you guys held out for the good deal offers, right? i thought we weren't going to be doing this unless they agreed to produce merchandise / upgrade the server / etc.

I'm hoping that the new Facebook redesign is 10% fake. I actually like it better, but the fonts are a bit too large. :P

How so? It might be a coincidence, but I'm pretty sure this is a legit message. Read the previous news, the new TI Education director is actually pretty positive about the community. I hope this new tightened partnership will result in a more open platform for the TI-Nspire and I congratulate all of omnimaga staff on achieving this new milestone. May 1-4-14 be written in gold in the history books!

Pretty great news. From experience I can say that Balyta is a very nice person, so the future of Omnimaga is definitely guaranteed. I'm also happy about their decision not to filter Ndless talk :)
