screen looks smaller on the CX

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

Maybe the whole thing's slightly bigger? I hope not.

Indeed, to proportion, the CX's screen looks somewhat smaller... good catch.

No offense, but that kind of looks like a step backwards in calc design. It reminds me of the TI-83...

but that's what makes me love TI's design!  and I personally think it's more like a sexy 84+ case :P

Nothing in the screenshots seem to indicate any application support. :banghead: Hopefully there is going to be more to OS 3.0 than 3D graphing, a new home screen, and vernier probe support. Still will be interesting to see some real hardware shots (not renders) during T^3 conference on the 25th-27th.

well we never know.. :P we just know that the programming capabilities were "back-seated" according to TI in effort for the new capabilities that they gave us.
Loved this place, still the best producers of power metal, and sparked my dreams of coding.

Well, except for those who will be involved in said cracking. ;) But that should go without saying.
Or people who just want to buy it for collection purposes. :P

OH MY GOD, IS IT REAL?
To be honest, I prefer the look of the TI-83/84/86/89/T/v200 and the Casio FX-9860G/PRIZM. I like the non-CAS one, though, but I'm not too fond of how square-ish it is. Square-ish stuff looks too much like a calc from the '80s or early '90s IMHO. I wish the design was a bit more modern and round. However, it looks MUCH better than the Clickpad TI-Nspires.
Does this mean no more 84+ emulator anymore. Not that TI would make a good emulator for a color screen anyways.

If there are no removable keypads, then yes this would be true. :(

But we cannot yet completely confirm that the keypads will not be removable.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if TI removed it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if OS 3.0 for the regular Nspires removed it too. TI stopped distributing the 84+ keypads with new Nspires and last Summer they discontinued the 84+SE in some countries. Maybe they're trying to force people to buy both calcs or want to make sure there are no games possible on the TI-Nspire. However, the design was really flawed anyway: Qazz's calc broke because of constantly swapping keypads.

I think that the removable keypad is still here, isn't it ?
I do not get mad at people, I just want them to learn the way I learnt.

Idk, I notice some sort of line surrounding most of it, but I don't know. I also wonder how large the calc will be... the Nspire is so huge it won't fit in my pockets...
