It does work.

Just install it as usual :)

Something like :
nspire_emu /1=boot1cx.raw /MXC /PB=boot2cx.img  /PO=os32.tcc

But I guess it has to be prepared with TNOC like the previous version, right?
Not for emulator usage, but definitely for real calculator usage, especially if you're using a Clickpad / Touchpad that still has the good old boot2 1.4.1571.

Removing TI's newer boot2 (a.k.a trojan horses) is a must for keeping a bit of control on your calculator, and being able to more easily exercise your freedom to tinker :)

Maybe, after the mess with the other OS bricking calcs (3.0 iirc?) they're allowing some way out in case something crops up?
Yeah, that's the only plausible explanation for OS 3.2.0.1212 allowing downgrade to OS 3.1.0.392: letting users a way out of the bugginess (if any - time will tell) of OS 3.2.
If that's the case, I can assure you 3.2.1 will come out very soon with no downgrade below 3.2 :P

That will undoubtedly occur ASAP, if OS 3.2.0.1212 proves to be mathematically correct enough: TI doesn't care about our freedom to tinker.

To my advice, it just became more likely to happen sooner after that topic:

Yeah, you can't even know how my morning was.
-I see OS 3.2 is out so I become to be sad.
-I see downgrade possibility so I become happy as if it was my birthday.
-I see PTTKiller. Enough said.

Is the new Lua scripting just like normal Lua? Or is it based differently since it's on calc?

Nice to see a new release, even if it does not promote ndless.  At least TI still cares about updating their calcs! :)

You technically can program on-calc, using programs like OcLua :)
But it's quite tedious with the nspire keyboard....
Also, if you want to learn Nspire-Lua : http://www.inspired-lua.org and http://wiki.inspired-lua.org for the API

Most all of my projects start on the calculator and I eventually bring them onto the computer. I can touch type with their (hard-to-use) keyboard :D

- Windows Nspire 3.2 Student.
- Windows Nspire 3.2 Teacher.
- Mac Nspire 3.2 Student.
- Mac Nspire 3.2 Teacher.

(not PC/Mac software not uploaded yet...)

I just downloaded the student software from here, so the main news article should probably be updated. I don't know about the teacher software.

The script editor looks very handy for writing Lua. They also have updated documentation here for the new functions.

i'm testing the OS in the calculator, using tnoc and downgradefix, it can return to previous versions of the OS without problem,  the teacher software works perfectly and the new scriping tool looks great, now any one can open a tns file and create or edit the script with lua, also the scriping tool let you see in realtime what can your code do at the actual state of the programation
it's amazing

Ah, good, they finally updated it :)
This documentation, in that state, is exactly what I'm trying to put on http://wiki.inspired-lua.org but ... in a better way :P
See by yourself : [lua]gc:drawString[/lua], [lua]cursor.set[/lua] ...
I don't know what I'll do about the huge physics part....
Also, summary for changes in 3.2 : http://wiki.inspired-lua.org/Changes_in_OS_3.2
