TI-Nspire Raycaster reaches engine source release status
« on: May 08, 2010, 04:28:02 am »
Bwang has worked non-stop on his TI-Nspire & TI-Nspire CAS raycasting engine in the past months and it reached beta status, a version that will be useable by C game programmers. Here is a video of version 0.1.0 in action:

Version 0.1.0 can be downloaded here, but check the topic often because new versions come out regulary!

The project have been moved into its own sub-forum under Major Community Projects.

UPDATE: It's finally out with the source! Version 0.2.x is available in this topic: http://ourl.ca/4794

Wow..I didnt know Bwang was that far along. That is really impressive. I wish I had an Nspire now ha. Even though I have absolutely no need for it.

Get one anyway ^^

I got 19 calcs even if I don't need them anymore, after all :P (and BrandonW has even more :P)

It can be rather expensive, though...

Nice!! It's really improved a lot since I last saw it. There are so many possibilities for this.

The Nspire is going to be the best calc out there, as programs like this demonstrate.  Bwang, you've done a wonderful job on this.  Keep up the awesome work! ;D

Bwang, I finally had the time to downgrade my OS last night and try your Raycaster.  You did an excellent job.  I wish I was as good at programming as you. :D
