This was planned for a while, when our TI-Nspire calculators would finally be ExtendeD (sorry Critor, I couldn't resist from reusing your joke), I would post a Youtube video showing it in action. For now, since the only major ASM program released is Calc84maniac emulator, almost the entire video shows it in action, but as most people who followed the Nspire scene in the past months knows, this is just the beggining.
Here's the tribute video, set to the song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now", by Starship, below:
In a few days you will be able to download the video in WMV format in our downloads section, in a recently added, but still currently empty video section, only for registered users.
So thanks to everyone who contributed to bringning ASM on all our Nspire and Nspire CAS handled, nothing's gonna stop the TI community now!

Wow I wonder what TI is going to do now :p
nothing they do will stop us :p

YES!! Nice vid Dj :) And awesome demo's too ;D just like that, the nSpire has the most extensive array of quality games in the community! Wooo!
-
Excellent! I wonder what the world's second Nspire application will be.

thanks, I hope to see more stuff to come out for the Nspire. I hope for a language like TI-BASIC for the 83+ or Axe, and maybe some more emulators and 3D stuff. A new 84+ emu might be good, too, for compatibility reasons.
-
Yeah, a better 84+ emu would ve great! Especially if you'll be able to run it without rebooting the entire OS...
-
If a great 84+ emu came out for the Nspire, I think it would come close to getting a POTY. ;D

Congrats on the hack :D
Do I really have to use OS 1.1 now? It lacks a lot of functions :\
-
Yes, the hack only works on OS 1.1
-
Yeah unfortunately it only works on OS 1.1, for now. Hopefully, what could happen in the future is one of the following (or all):
1) A OS patch is released, adding the missing essential functions (and fixing the power management bug)
2) The exploit is made compatible with OS 1.7
3) A totally new TI-Nspire OS is made
Altough for the missing functions, the TI-89 emulator that is in the works by Calc84maniac might come handy.
