Not really sure how news-worthy this is on this site, but it's a pretty big warning, at the very least.
Calc Haven was hacked maliciously yesterday, no joke. The perpatrator appears to have come from a sort of underground community called
https://www.vniss.net
... and my account was used to destroy the site. I highly suggest you ban the following IP address:
203.160.1.*
Thanks for your time... and if I have the time, I'll remove affiliation links at the time being to protect other sites.
You all have no idea at how upset I am...
But carry on, please. And thanks for your time.

Sorry to hear that!! I hope you were able to restore everything.
Some jerk started posting adult related SPAM in my discussion topic at Dino's Ultima page. The SPAM was coming in on an 8 day cycle. I had to have the topic locked to prevent further spamming.
Some people have nothing better to do than to destroy or tarnish the image of other's work. Very sad.

Probably was a spam bot. Good point... but someone had to write that stupid spam bot! Hence, the person(s) still indirectly destroy and tarnish the image the work of others.

Is everything lost there, I hope not. I hate hackers (and one thing I have done is I am the only one on my site with CPanel access). Do you know how the guy got in, just as a reffence for securing our sites?

Calc Haven... sigh... is slightly lost.
Here's the deal.
We had a backup, but it was worthless. The board would be extremely buggy if we tried to back it up. So we're taking the opportunity to make a board out of IPB 2.0, which should be far more secure. In the meantime, I'd like to suggest that people go to my personal website if you feel like keeping track of events.

Thanks for the support, guys... I really need it right now.

It's those kinds of people that make the world a bad place to live in. How I hate people that take credit for other's work or destroy it intentionally!
