New Ultima V screenshot!
« on: September 18, 2007, 07:18:00 pm »
David has just posted a new screenshot of Ultima V: Warriors Of Destiny, now showing many dungeons rooms:

user posted image

one image means 1000 words and this is an animation, so just watch if you don't have dial-up (in this case at least you got to see the first two or three dungeons).

I'm so glad I have a TI-89 :Ptongue.gif (needed it for calc anyways)

This is going to be like having your own super nintendo on your calc.
Just add Super Mario and the set is complete :)smile.gif

Actually... Ultima V was released in 1993 for the NES under the title, "Ultima: Warriors of Destiny". However... it did not have the entire story line.

Thanks! Ultima V has a few different types of tile animations:

- Cycle thru 4 tiles (example: NPCs)
- Cycle thru 2 tiles (example: clock)
- Cycle and overlay fire on certain tiles (example: torch)
- Rotate tiles downward (example: water & lava)
- Rising tiles (example: moongate)

yeah I know, i was just saying it was kinda more on the NES, I did not found any Ultima V version for SNES. It's a shame that they cut down so much features in the NES versions tho, it doesn't show the true feeling of the games
