Newegg gift card looks very tempting.  It would mean I can finally upgrade to a graphics card that can actually play StarCraft II at at least the lowest settings.  Then I can finally learn how to play (even if it means I have to use the Starter Edition).

If I have time and the deadline is still ~37 hours from now, I might whip up something real quick.

Hmm if you ever get Starcraft II you should PM me your screenname/code so maybe we can play ;D (although with starter edition it can be harder to form teams, like in the original Starcraft game lobbies).

Good luck if you work on something :)

As for gift cards, Omni often went with such thing before because of our younger userbase in general. Most parents have control on what comes into the mail or what people here do with their money, and as a result of internet security paranoia, they'll freak out if they discover their kid received a prize from the Internet. In fact, Builderboy had to get his 2009 prize to Bwang because his parents didn't know he did calc stuff and didn't want him to go on calc forums.

Would it be possible to also have the choice of a prepaid credit card as a prize?

Ouch, that sucks (what his parents did), but at least he got the prize :)

I don't know, but I think they want to limit it to online stores really. I might be wrong, though.

Also, we're 1 day away from the end of the contest! :w00t:

Well, those can be used online at basically anywhere that accepts the prepaid card provider (visa, amex, etc.), and the card number can be sent online if someone doesn't want their parents seeing them get a physical card in the mail.

IKR, that time has gone by so fast!
It's crunch time for me.

Meh, I really need to hurry >.>
My problem is that the computer software shows stuff different then on-calc :/
So its hard to make it good for the CX, if you don't know how it will look.

I finally managed to finish my entry, even if I don't really hope to win, since my game is really basic...
This is a FreeCell game, written entirely on-calc in 3 days (OCLua for code and nSpaint for images).
Tomorrow, I'll go on holiday and I won't be able to go to Internet for 2 weeks, so I really had to finish that today. (It's almost midnight in France...)

Just sent mine in.  Not that great, and not "Easy Game," but at least there'll be one more (Ndless) entry (so Ndless won't feel so underutilized).  At this rate, we might have as many, if not more entries than the Axe contest!

All of these Lua entries are pretty amazing.  Kind of makes me with I had a CX to try these out.
