My fork of OmnomIRC is now OmnomIRC V3. Still in development and not ready for use. Eventually V2 will be merged with V3 and hopefully it will run much faster and much more securely.
V3 is almost a complete re-write. The guts of many functions will be reused, but the whole workflow will change.

Check your settings and make sure you don't click the link twice.
The link is a simple <a> tag, so there is no way that it is omnomirc's fault.

Personally I'm thinking if a person wants it open in a new tab, there's middle-click. Nothing to make new tab links open in the same tab afaict.
This would just be for the post notifier links.

Poll sounds like it would work..or another option? :P

middle-click will always open in new tab, the question is if normal klick should open in new tab or in same window

Yeah, that's what I was saying :P  If the default is to make the links open in a new tab, there's no way to have them open in the same tab.

I agree with this. I always thogt it was odd that they opened up in a new tab.
