Ah ok thanks for the clarification. By the way, I take it that the server problem only affects Omnom, right? Because Reuben Quest and Illusiat's websites (which are hosted on Sorunome server, which is hosted on the same server as OmnomIRC) still appear to work fine (although they're slow).

backup2.withg.org is different from Sorunomes server afaik. backup2.withg.org is one of Alberts servers and part of the withgusto network.
Sorunome doesn't host OmnomIRC on his server because of ping issues.

reubenquest.net was never the same as OmnomIRC, the only thing is that the calculator program for OmnomIRC slowed down the OmnomIRC server so i put it instead on reubenquest.net, that is the only time my server has to do with omnomirc

so, if backup2.withg.org won't be able to go online again, I volunteer my server to server for OmnomIRC

Does it means that OmnomIRC could temporarily move to backup2.withg.org? Also any official info on what caused the downtime yet?

server was back up last night.  The only knows I kNow of is That the hdd stopped responding.
Sorunome please email [email protected] how to start Omnomirc so if this happens it can be streamlined

The server went into read-only mode, alberthro had to reboot it over the admin pannel of the vps
