Ok, i fixed now (in theory) the [invalid date] issue, it is hard to know for sure as it already happend kinda random.
But the fix is kinda lame, i do client-side a test for if it is [invalid date], and if it is i just don't display the line.

Sorunome, since today, the OmnomIRC logs for #omnimaga keeps thrashing themselves every few minute, causing that channel tab to almost always remain empty or with very stretched lines of text and it makes it really hard to follow convos.

Every other channel are fine.

Hm, looking into it, the problem is a overload of join/part messages, no idea how that could happen! O.O
We just need to chat more i guess XD

The strange part is how other channels with barely any chat seemed to work fine, though ???

that is because it loads the last 50 messages from the chat.
Everyone has #omnimaga as default, resulting in a ton of join/part messages in #omnimaga, yes, also from omnomirc there are join/part messages. But those get hidden, and suddenly there are like no messages on #omnimaga anymore.
The other channels aren't affective because people usually don't use them as default.

ok, i think i fixed some more bugs.
Also, if you want to you can access textmode now (not only by having in the ident textmode) but also over http://omnomirc.www.omnimaga.org?textmode
textmode does full chatting without any javascript and no style so that it'll look good in a text-based browser :)

Oh that seems kinda cool. What would be nice, though, is if you could integrate this into the imode/wap/wap2 templates, along with IMG tag support, so people who don't use Tapatalk have a faster way to browse Omni while still being able to use the chat simultaneously.

Also I see that refreshing issues have been fixed in OmnomIRC 2

imode/wap/wap2 aren't suppose to have images on them. Fixing image tags would be going against their standards. Integrating textmode OmnomIRC would also cause issues with browsing due to how textmode works.

textmode refreshes the page every 5 seconds over the html meta tags to be able to do so without javascript.
You first have to hit a link to be able to chat because it would suck if you write up a long chat message and the page refresh and it's all gone.
