Now many double lines occur, even without lag, but this time, they disappear on page reload.

Humm I said it was working better since the client rewrite, did not test the server side update.
Edit : Tested it.
Just wow, such perfection, much speed, very lagfreeness wow.
And DJ, I don't get that issue.
Edit 2 : I do get line doubling that disappears on refresh. OmnomIRC loads faster though now.

YEah I mean line doubling that disappears on refresh. And yeah it's much faster, even in Opera.

I know the issue of why double-lines are happening: If you switch to a different channel why the current one didn't finish loading.
I also know how to fix it etc, I'll do it later today when I have time

then it is because i restarted the irc bot and stuff, or you quickly /ignore'd and stuff like that, the cause code-wise would still be the same

Maybe it wasn't much of a good idea to allow smileys inside the channel topics?

What do you guys think?
Disable smileys in topic, or
make the height of the topic bar auto-adjust to the topic?

Default should be off because the topic has to be discreet.
