Oh I thought it was two lol. But yeah IMHO the main confusion comes from the fact most people switched nicks almost within a day span recently. Maybe we'll get used to it eventually but it would require everyone to not constantly switch between both ponies and non-ponies nicks so we get used to it

I personally don't see much point unless the browser allows windows to remain always on top, though. Else if it goes in the background when clicking on a maximized window, then it pretty much defeats the point of having a pop out option instead of fullview :P

I do exactly this, I have a utility that always-on-top-ifies windows. :P

topic smileys: known, but i am lazy :P

double-lines: any suspicious behaviour right before it happend?

loading times: because it backs up the whole table now to the archives and wipes the lines table it takes longer to load inactive channels as it has to fetch off of the HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE archives table (talking about almost 2 million entries)

For double lines it seems just random. However when it usually happens, it's after a very minor OmnomIRC lag. I don't know if it's due to lag server side or mine, though, but double lines are very rare now.

New feature idea: Report button for OmnomIRC.

When you hover over a line of text, there would be a red [!], a [report] or image-based exclamation mark that appears to the right and when clicking on it, it would lead to the Report to mod form. When reporting an IRC line of text, the moderator would get a link to the exact timestamp in the logs rather than a forum post link.

There could also be an Omninet command to do this, although it might be harder to implement. But yeah that way people won't get the idea that when they do bad stuff on IRC that it's easier to get away with it.

A touchscreen (Ipad) problem:
It expands, showing every chat message, and pushes the normal Omni interface down, and never stops. I have to do collapse or full screen. So I usually have OmniIRC and Tapatalk open at the same time, and tapatalk doesn't show every post.

You may want to mention which browser and OS version.

This happened in the default iOS 4 browser as well when I had an iPod Touch over three years ago. Everything stops loading when this happens because of the resulting extreme CPU/memory usage. I think this glitch happens on every single iOS-based proprietary browser.

I don't want to check if it still happens in iOS 4 because I heard that older iDevices explode if you try to recharge them after leaving the battery empty for several months in a row.

It wasn't a problem for me on my iOS 3/4 iTouch back in the day. It did cause extreme lag due to the resource usage though.

Soru: Ah
Eeems: IOS 7.1.2? "Version" in the about section. Browser: Safari
DJ: How many (prone to) exploding batteries do you have? I'll ask what happened when "A mushroom cloud over Quebec" comes up in the news.

Maybe getting one would be a good idea to debug ? :P

Except that a brand new phone costs like $400-500 with no plan, unless you are lucky and run into a last generation device at Walmart. >.< (even then, the only time I ever saw a brand new phone for under $200 was during a "going out of business" sale.
