In my case I did nothing special. I would just chat for a minute or so then eventually lines started doubling

I also had the expanding glitch on iPod Touch on the default browser (Safari on iOS 4-5 I think?)


I think it's an iOS-wide glitch and it has been around for 2-3 years (ever since OmnomIRC v2 exists)

I think that's the same reason why Netham45 never fixed the bug either. However, since iDevices seems to have extremely poor website compatibility unless you download a third-party browser, he probably just decided to not even bother supporting Safari on iOS, much like how he stopped supporting IE at one point.

If there is a virus on your computer, then you need to get it removed so that the bug reports can be considered valid, as the problem might actually be caused by the virus.

Some parental filters also cause this problem (like what happened to Keoni29 in 2011)

It was a guess there was a virus, it might of just been an advertisement target

I tried waiting which is why this was so long.

Only my mac counts as a valid computer now. :P

well, the chat log doesn't show like what you did right before and during the trigger, if you liek wrote many lines, changed tabs quikley, opened oirc in two tabs quickly or something.
