I noticed since the past week that a new recurrent problem has been happening with OmnomIRC: For about 2-3 hours every now and then, absolutely nothing will send through the chat. If I type then press Send, it won't even show up in the shoutbox. Usually this lasts between 2 and 3 hours then it works fine again. However it has been annoying when i am in a hurry to tell something to someone and OmnomIRC just refuses to send anything.
I've tried to clear my cache and cookies, to no avail. In fact it caused OmnomIRC and Omnimaga CSS to break in Opera until I restart my browser last time.
It seems to happen per user basis, because right now Sorunome, kjelddy and p2 can use it fine, yet I can't.

the chat is only working for me when i press full view otherwise the omnomirc is just plain white. so basicly I need another tab for chat while normally i would have used 1 tab for omnimaga and omnomIRC

well, it seems that it doesn't register posts anymore too, i'm using chrome, but i can use the irc itself without problems.
i encountered some lags from a couple of seconds to 20 seconds, but that's just because the server is being busy i think

Yeah I had this happen earlier too. The text field wouldn't take the entire width anymore and the chat view was empty. However it happened in omnom Full too. I had to restart Opera to fix it.
As for now I have to use Firefox or another browser if I want to use OmnomIRC.
The netsplit could be why it doesn't work anymore, but I,m curious why would OmnomIRC intermittently stop working in Opera and not other browsers? ???

Yeah, a netsplit happened this morning, I guess the EFNet server OmnomIRC was on died. Please use irc.omnimaga.org as server instead while the problem gets fixed. Also Netham should make it so it automatically reconnects when it disconnects.

Well I suggested that over a year ago, but I think he never actually figured how to make it reconnect.

OmnomIRC also doesn't work in mobile safari.
