not with xlib 0.1a ??
cause this is the one i use, and it's 8x8 sprite, i can use four separate sprite for one carachter but it's slow as hell...

lol same here, i use the old xlib, for two reasons: 1. its easier than the new version 2. i didn't know there was a updated version i thought the old one was the most recent.
my battle system has to do 2 by 2 tiles to display stuff too, but it kinda runs smoothly so it doesn't look unnatural, you should try doing the samething 2

i don't have an SE but y may think of buying one... but if i'm to buy a new ti it will be a 86... to play "blinded by the dark"
just a question, a want to learn ASM, i don't know C++ or any other language, so what's the best for me? 28 days?....
i want something that cover the basics you know
2X2 sprites are more slow... and it's more hard to program... (4 line of code instead of one cannot be more speedy or even equal..)

as for asm learning I must warn you its kinda hard, but the best tutorial is asm in 28 days
