I'll be making a game for Ludum Dare 26. (google it, it's awesome.)
It will be a minimalistic game made out of straight basic, as unique as possible.
I have until sunday night!
You guys should join, too.

Will it be a calculator game that you submit?

That gives you an advantage: if you submit a
calculator game
, the judges will be impressed at the game bing on a calculator!

A job that slowly kills you

Bring down the government
They don't, they don't speak for us
I'll take a quiet life
A handshake of carbon monoxide
And no alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
Silent, silent
This is my final fit
My final bellyache
With no alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises please
Such a pretty house
And such a pretty garden
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises please

The theme is minimalism, so by using a minimalistic platform you might score bonus points. The only problem is that the judges might own TI89 calcs only.

Send them an emulator file and a ROM image. O_O (If you are willing to violate law...)

They recommend you port a game to other platforms after the 48hr deadline, so I think this suggests that you better make a game for linux and then port it to a calculator. You can make it look like it was on a calc though.
