wow awesome, as always, so will 4 level be used or 8 level? also is it possible inside the game like tilemapper to have 8 level grayscale? it would pwn so much
EDIT: btw this must me the fastest paced project topic I've seen ever on this forum (besides the sword of darkness news article back in may 2005) 0_o

8-level hmm... well, i heard that Kevin Kofler (sorry kev for mentioning his name!) might be secretly working on an 8 level gs mode for TIGCC's greyscale.
AFAIK:
pros: cool graphics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cons: drain batteries, more data, and consequently shorter RPG, as well as flicker if the motion is too intense. Also, it might look repulsive on HW2-4 because of the flicker. I wish TI didn't change the screen hardware!!

O_O
That is awesome, Spelli!
Would there be any way to make this:
Look kind of like this:
I know one uses 4-level grayscale and the other uses 8-level grayscale, but if it is possible, that would be great

Thanks a lot, Spelli! That looks great. :king:
You don't have to edit it any more; if I need to make a slight change or add a few things, I'll do it myself. Thanks again, Spelli. You did such a great job, I'm going to give you a gift. :gift:

Here's a new screenshot:
It doesn't really do much, yet, and I still need to make a better arrow to select options in the menu.

Here are the 32x32 sprites for rivereye, tenniskid, and dragon_lance (in that order):
These are going to be used when selecting which character the user wants to be.
