I need to finish the tileset. Does anybody know of a program to generate C code for each tile in a 16x16 four-level grayscale sprite sheet?

New screenshot of dragon_lance walking:
I'm using Zelda tiles at the moment because I can't seem to find a tool that generates that C code for grayscale 16x16 tile-maps.
Remember, if you are in the game and want your sprite to look a certain way, just tell me.

O_O
That looks awesome! Am I in the game? I remember posting in this thread a long time ago, but I don't remember if I'm in it or not.

Yup, you are in the game. All of the members are listed in the first post:

Anyway, here's a new screenshot:
http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/6816/screenshot0002fd3.gif
As you can see, I still have to make the sprites for moving other directions, and I still need to make it so that the character starts out in the right place.

Heh, awesome. Personally, I want to look like L from Death Note. To see what he looks like, look at my avatar, and Google it. If you have trouble finding a good picture of him, let me know.

Looks awesome! Although the Zelda tilemap is often overused, I like it for this kind of RPG.
I hope you make your own tilemaps though.

The only tiles from Zelda that I'm going to use are going to be the water and maybe the grass.
Would anybody mind making 16x16 4-level grayscale sprites for Tenniskid and rivereye? Here are the 32x32 versions of them:
(rivereye is the first one, Tenniskid is the second, and dragon_lance is obviously the last one)

The lower right corner of the trees displays a column of greyscale sprites; is it supposed to be like that? Also, the grass is kinda faint.
If I am in the game, make me a wizard...no, a sorcerer...no, a warlock!
I will want to be a warlock.

Delnar_Ersike: Yeah, that was just me testing the something. And I'll gladly make you a warlock
rivereye, you can have some fishing gear
Here's a new screenshot:
The beautiful grayscale dialogs are from Boolsoft's Advanced Dialogs library.
