I'm at it again... programming 1000 thinga at once! ( me   :knight:knight3.gif )

At the moment I have an engine, and 8 (or 7) levels, the one issue I am coming up with is, should I add physics to the blocks? (right now, they float when you set them down) but then I have to redesign levels 3-7 (8) idk. Also, should you be able to push blocks? And should there be special blocks? (like bombs, or ice blocks)

sound cool, actually I think you should make the block fall when they are dropped, like the old block dude (make a loop that check if the block touches something solid and move it one case down until it touch something solid). Maybe you could have two kind of blocks? one kind that float and one kind that wont? It would make things easier and maybe even more challenging for later levels

other than that nice project I hope to see this finished :)smile.gif

O_O An Ascii block dude, sounds fun! I'll have to beat the original one first.
I like the idea of different block species. On a floor of ice blocks you would slide until you hit a wall or normal floor, making some interesting level ideas. And the floating blocks; you could also make blocks that take you up and down when you're on them. Transparent blocks too, like ghost blocks...
Really, I sense unlimited possibilities here. Keep it that way. :)smile.gif
One of these days I'll get a sig I'm really proud of.
