Well, I'd like it more if I could achieve grayscale using the app. Evidently the hooks it installs conflict with Omnicalc, and the sprite routine in xLib does not (for me at any rate) flicker. I must be doing something wrong.

So you want to achieve flickering with xLIB using the sprite function? If so you could just have it draw the sprite and erase it over and over..

What about the tilemap command? xLIB does everything omnicalc does, but better (not the extra math functions on omnicalc). It can draw tilemaps and sprites (xLIB).

No, I tried using the tilemap command to do grayscale, and for some reason, it didn't flicker, it just got stuck on the base image. *looks through code* Maybe I made an argumental error...?

WOW I just saw the screenshots in the first page, awesome so far, that reminds me a game "Master of magic" on Revsoft which was unfortunately never continued (no new progress for nearly 6 months I think) and Dragon Warrior style (map). I can't wait :)smile.gif

I noticed you said you might translate the game to french, right? I could prbly help for this once it's finished if there arent too many text in the game as it is my native language :Dbiggrin.gif

Woot, this is testing week in my district.

Meaning lots of progress will (most probably) be made.
Hence, relatively large update today!

EDIT: Realized I should probably state this beforehand. For those of you (probably just tifreak) who know someone in the TI community under the alias "NightWind," this is my new username.

I am confuzzled now, do you mean you are Nightwind (from TI-Freakware) or a Nightwind friend? :Pblah.gif

Yes, I AM NightWind. I gave up on that username 'cause its method of creation was quite n00bish. Literally.

Yes, Kevin, I know it's your native language. I realized this many times when I couldn't remember if the English version of ROL3 was spelled ROL3 or R0L3. Plus, what else would it be when you're in Qu

Ah, thank ye kindly. *implements*

EDIT: Is there a way to measure the number of digits in a REAL variable?
Basically length() for an integer.

EDIT: Okay, another problem. The grayscale "works," but sometimes (read: almost always), the keypress happens when the mask frame is active, so until the keypress happens when the base frame is active, I get a nasty flickering effect
