I have had some thoughts about the magic that will see action in BM...
Magic will have the usual effects as in other fantasy RPG

will the magic system be kinda like ff, where blizzard, blizzara, blizzaga? other wise, some cool spells, Gaia, Quake, cure(ailments),summon(creatures), and maybe perhaps slow time(where like ur bar goes up extra quick

sweet! Eldest kinda sucked in the beggining, but the ending ROCKED!!! for ur magic system, itd be kinda cool if u used eragon's system of the ancient laguage, then get 2 customize spells.

u could use strings and user input, but thatd be complex. id just have spells in the ancient language that are set, and ur knoledge of the ancient language is like ur "spell points", so the more words u know, the more spells u'll be able to cast.

You may want to take a look at the spells in Ultima V for a few ideas -- check the "Effects" collumn in the spell list.

I like your idea of being vulnerable during the actual spell casting
Ultima V does not have that.

it would be neat if certain weapons/items had effects on how much prepation certain spell types took and their strength...and you could always use the
expr(
command to add together strings of spell effects and set criteria on what would fail or suceed (custom spells)
why isn't my post level discription (coding knite, omnimaga fan, ect.) displayed?

Kevin made it that if you have over 2 posts..you can change that title to whatever you want so the old descriptions don't show up anymore. Go to Setup-Edit Profile Info and it should be the first thing called custom member title.

the member titles has been replaced with level up system (at the bottom of your post count/join date/member ID) and as tenniskid said you can change your title at 2 posts
