Well, I think I might upgrade to 16x16 gs, so it's basically back to the drawing board for me.

I might release the sprites I had been working on earlier if people want them. I think we should start some kind of sprite data base similar to project-charas.

yeah that would be a good idea, especially if someone is desesperately in need of sprites to finish a project (this happen often, even to me)

well, this project really won't progress much until after we make sure Lost Legends is completed. Hey, maybe we should be the official host or something? If that's okay w/ grendel.

well DJ_Omnimaga, the main sprites I have to redo are the people sprites, but you're the only one who know what I wanted to do w/ them. So don't tell!!

@Art_of_camelot: Sure, I'd really appreciate your help when I get this going again. When I do, I'll PM the details of what I want you to do, cuz I've got specific instructions.

I just hope all the data and code can fit into 300 kb, otherwise I'd be screwed w/ gs.

Liazon, there is indeed a ship in there. However, don't you think the tileset is a bit... huge? Drawing a single ship would require about 30 or so different tiles from that set, and many of them won't even be visible on the map. (due to limitations with the resolution -- you won't be able to see the lower half of the ship at all)

If you like, I could design a similar set with less tiles per theme. You would just neeed to specificy what sort of areas you have in mind. Like if you want a castle set, a town set, a dungeon set and a ship set...

Bear in mind, Lost Legends only uses 72 tiles, and Lost Legends II (more detailed) uses 108. (roughly 4 different theme sets crammed together, with minimal objects)

they are ship tiles actually, but it would be extremly big on calc, I would suggest combining some of them and try them together to see if you coudlnt make a smaller ship with them
