I was wondering how good was the 84+CSE screen contrast-wise, as well as how good the color showed up? Is it as good as the Nspire CX, for example?

I am curious because earlier I tried the 84+ emulator for the Nspire CX and at the bottom of the gradient, which isn't too far from the gray used by the 84+CSE bar it seemed to be close to black color. Does the bar at the top of the 84+CSE screen appears as extremely dark gray, so much that it can't be distinguished from black? Also how are the light/medium grays with white? Are they even viable for use in programs or are they just impossible to see?
