Discover the TI-Nspire LabStation Cradle
« on: January 01, 2012, 06:58:06 pm »
Hi people!

I've published a first test of the TI-Nspire LabStation Cradle.
http://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=119296#p119296

Even if you don't understand french, there are many photos that might interest you.

I'll publish a more hardware-oriented test later.

Did you allready know that the TI-Nspire LabStation Cradle was a real TI-Nspire calculator?

Yes, based on the TI-Nspire ClickPad or TouchPad PCB, with a NOR, a 32MB NAND, RS232, Boot1, Boot2, Diags, OS... Just the screen and the keypad were removed.

So now you get the proof!

But I can send you some unleashed TI-Nspire ClickPad prototypes if you want. ;)

As it *is* based on the Nspire calculator hardware, no wonder it just costs as much.

But the sensors are really too expensive...

Lol lucky people :P

But yeah I wonder if every school will be able to afford those. In Canada, for instance, public education has very limited budget, so they're most likely still stuck with their 1993 TI-82s or at the very best their imported TI-82 STATS.
