Title: Do you carry your calc in your pocket?

I met the canadeian girl and freaked here out with my calc in pocket.
she said "do all Americans Carry huge calcs in there Pockets?"
I said no.
But hey there is a lot of canadains that do Aren't there?

yeah, well go in any country and they will say that (provided they are a bit aware of the world).

But yeah, I don't and I still am freak according to them. It's like you asking us if we all live in igloos.

BTW, I hate stereotypes. Oh, and I don't carry my calc in my pocket because I am afraid people might steal it. :wacko: Instead, I carry it in an inside pocket on a waistpack. The other stuff in there are my 2.5->3.5mm jack adapter (both mono and stereo), a couple of headphones, a link cable (just in case I meet someone from the programming community by accident), and the xLib readme. I know, I'm a total geek, but aren't we all?

I got a calc carrying case from walmart. :D
I had my 2.5->3.5 adapter and earphones and link cables in it, along with an xLib readme. So you aren't alone :P

Oh, and I have my calc in it.

Hehe... I don't during the summer but a lot during the school year yeah. All my friends think I'm weird, 'cause we'll like, go to see a movie and halfway through you hear this big KATHUNK-CLUNK when it fall outta my pocket. XD Then they are all like 'THERE GOES SPENGO'S CALCULATOR!' It goes in the lower right hand cargo pants pocket. I always wear cargo pants. :P My gf thinks it's cute so it must be a good thing though, eh?

Rofl delnar - you have a waistpack? There *are* people more nerdy than me out there! :D

I carry it in my pocket, I have a little 'man-purse' that I carry them in if I need more than one(complete with 2 link cables, USB link cables, USB Mini A to USB Female A adaptor, silver link, extra AAA's, but no xLIB manual. I don't use xLIB, but isn't there an oncalc xlib manual?

I'd sick it im my pocket but it don't fit but why bother i have it in my hands programing it. I keep my usb adapter 2 headphone adapters amd a stereo 3.5mm cable so i can make a link cable at any time. and once I have my PS/2 adapter done I will carry that with me too.

I have no idea how someone can manage to get pickpocketed if he put it in a pocket in front or on the side of his pants. I mean, thats like the hardest part for pickpocketing, since you'll notice it right away, and especially if the pockets are small

I did for a little while. But not in a my pants pocket, in sort of a shirt pocket, except it's BIG. Pants, well, I'm too active for that to work out, and I stopped because it became a little annoying, and, the shirt pocket started breaking :P

Mine stays in my pocket if I'm wearing my coat with the large pockets.  Otherwise, it just stays somewhere in my backpack.
