I was at a resale shop and I found a casio fx-9860G slim for only $4!!!!!

Help, I have the cable that works with this, I installed the software, but the casio link software doesn't recognize my calculator

Is the calculator turned on?
Do you have all drivers installed?
Maybe that is why it was so cheap?
