Ok good to hear. It would kinda suck if TI released a new calc with a similar model name and it did not ran anything from the previous one.

By the way you can upgrade your 92 with a Plus module, but they're very hard to find.

Yeah, I know. We have one of those, but I don't know if yo can still get those.

Well, you can, just not new. :) You'd have to check ebay or something to see if someone was selling a used one.

I heard that they were a few hundreds of dollars once, due to their rarity, not sure if it's true, though. Personally I would rather pay a few extra bucks for an actual 92+ or even a v200 :P

Indeed, you can't compare the display quality!
And the speed is also higher (notable when playing Super Mario 68l :p)

Is the 92+ a blue LCD? I know the 92 was, plus mine got missing rows of pixels x.x. Isn't SM68K only for the Flash models, though?

Aww, too bad they changed it for the 92+ models. I always thought the blue pixels were cool. They reminded me of the old gameboy (even thought its pixels were green instead of blue). The old TI-82s, and the TI-85s have blue pixels as well.

Yeah, that is true, I forgot to mention I was using a plus module :/

Edit:
@ Art_of_camelot, the visibility of the black screens is THOUSAND times better than the blue one. You can't compare it, its so much better.

Ah, the old blue ones were cheaply made then? Or do you just mean simply because the blue was less visible?

Well, its more cheap, and it less visible. The 'black' ones are more green.

I didn't like them too much, except the 85, because the contrast was too low so it was hard to read.

I personally love the way the old TI-82s looked. I don't have much experience with the TI-85, and none with the TI-92. I do remember seeing a game in "bluescale" on the TI-85 though. That was pretty sweet! ;D

Yeah true. It was nice. I just find the TI-82 LCD to be too hard to read compared to other calcs. The screen is much darker and the pixels lighter. It's nowhere as bad as the TI-80 or 81, though. (The 80 was the worst)

Hey I'm thinking about getting a TI-92+!
