Congratulations!  I hope you can restart the 89 emulator, because otherwise I'm not going to get another calc for a long time.  but no pressure.  :P

Strangely enough, I've never had a hard drive failiure except once when my parent's Power Supply died. It fried everything else, including the Mobo and CPU. Other than that, I've never actually had a computer fail in my hands, but many have come to me from neighbors and friends. Hence, I have a whole lot of spare CD drives, Cases, Power Supplies and Floppy drives, but very few hard drives, as people tend to keep them.

Glad you got new laptop. I hope this one lasts for a while. Make backups regularly anyway, though, in case.
