This means you won't be able to run any TI programs any more, because that your only calc right?
Rare? not really. You can by the 84+ pad for $10 on ti's site, and get an nspire on ebay for ~$80
@scout: It depends on your needs and what your school requires for graphing calculators. TI calculators also have a much larger program selection at the moment (since you have the 84 keypad). I Wouldn't discourage you from getting a Prizm though. It is a very nice piece of equipment.
Well there are currently plans to add an 84+ emulator to the Prizm so you wouldn't lose all TI games. Yes you would lose all nspire games because an nspire emulator sounds very difficult to accomplish. But on the other hand many people would like to port some popular nspire games to the Prizm in the near future. Also current projects in development for the Prizm are java and an Axe port.
