Nice! Now to get that headphone adapter and USB adapter that I don't have <_< (I really should get them at some point to take advantage of things like this)
It's been two days since the last post, so how's progress? :)

This is awesome!  Sir, you've done a wonderful job with this.  It looks like I may have a new way to impress my friends and/or teachers at school...

Also, Sir, would it be possible for you to redo MSD8x so it works fully on the only-48-kb calcs?  Please?  ;D

If I get around to it, I might.  I have no idea why, of all programs, this one needs extra RAM.

BrandonW uses the extra RAM for caching directory listings.

I see.  I may have to lose sorting on other calculators, but it should be doable.

Hmm...while you're at it..

How hard would it be to make it so it lists the programs in a way other than just reading through the vat?  Sometimes it's so hard just to find a single program...esp. because the appvars are usually before the programs :P

When you go to send a program to the flash drive, it has a window that pops up and you scroll through the vars to the program/appvar/whetever.  Most of the time the stuff is scrambled around.

Oh, that.  Sure, I could make a better VAT browser.

I remember thepenguin saying with his sound player was that he only had so many clock cycles to load each byte of data which made loading from usb difficult. But now that you're probably riding the limit with usb, adding compression would take too much time
What if you ran decompression before the song starts? (Of course, you would have to have enough free memory on the usb to hold one uncompressed song.)

Edit: After thinking about it, it doesn't seem too practical...

Hooray!

And I'm not playing your music because I didn't think to!  I also wanted to get something that was really recognizable as not beeps (not saying your music isn't)

O.O :'(

jk it's fine. I think it was best to play a popular song and not a rickroll either, since with a rickroll people would have thought it's fake.
