Spoiler For IMPORTANT NEWS!:
Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

I especially like the penguin pajamas that are visible at times during this video.

Anyway, a while back I picked up some source code that Jim_E left behind upon leaving the community, and started making improvements.  This is currently what I have, and I'm about ready to pull the code out of msd8x and into a dedicated application.

Wait, I am curious, does this program require use of extra ram pages? I think that some flash drive apps on ti did not work for me because of that x.x

speaking of which, I still need to get that USB converter.... I gave the last one back to my friend..

It does now, sort of.  Mine doesn't have extra RAM, if it means anything to you.  When it is released, it won't.

I'm guessing only FAT16 is supported, which only supports up to 2GB of data.

That's correct.  However, I've been using a 4 GB flash drive with mild issues.  usb8x is fussy.

Teacher: Brian, what are you doing?
Me: Its a calculator.
Teacher: Why is it playing music?
Me: Because it can.

Can't wait for a release. Hopefully I'll have my new calculator when you do release it. And what about a partitioned flash drive on Fat16 with two 2gb partitions? Do-able?

Sounds awesome!  :D

Not even going to try.

The drive partitioning would be nice, but I'm not sure if too many people would take advantage of it.
