Nice. I think it might be a good idea to news about it here too (although I'm unsure about the Omnimaga staff future plans regarding news articles on the front page. For some reasons I'm afraid they have no plan to continue posting calc news any further...), especially that the calc seems pretty different.

By the way this seems to be the first time they do this, because in China there was only one Touchpad and one CAS Touchpad.

The international TI community number one reference site not posting calc news anymore?... :(
No website is currently able to replace Omnimaga, and certainly not TI-Bank which has no plan of becoming international for now.

Please, you should reconsider...

After I left on July 8th and was removed from my staff/news editing position, the rest of the staff didn't replace me with another news editor it seems, so pretty much everything went unnoticed. I won't badmouth them if they chose to take a different direction, but I wish they could have gotten together during my break to replace me or something.

I thought about contributing to news again in the future, but just not now, since I'm still on some sort of break until maybe September. I just wish somebody could help at the moment (I gave about 3-4 news suggestions to Juju and others, to no avail) to keep people in the English community informed.

Else the only other solution I can find is that the staff pick someone just for posting news here during my break.

Well I meant the calc news like this new NSpire CX, the TI-30X assembly a while ago and Sound on the Nspire, which weren't posted here, along with a few other stuff. And now even the newsletter seems to be delayed x.x. It doesn't help that the ones who used to post news regularly don't speak French, though...

On another note, anybody knows what CX, CX-C and  CM stands for? ???

In CX and CM, the first C probably stands for Color.

In CX-C and CM-C, the last C probably stands for Chinese.

I'm not sure about the X (eXpanded?) and I don't know about the M.

Hopefully those calcs were not modified per government request to add some extra stuff in them so they can monitor what is done in them. >.>

No, that would require Wi-Fi, which bans them from tests. :P
Plus the battery drain would be pretty noticeable. Unless they're sneakily hiding data inside .tns files instead of communicating wirelessly...

Hi and welcome to the forums. I wonder if the CX-C also includes the other languages as well? Because if I remember, the american one also included it. Is it just the keypad that is changed?
