Keep in mind, though, that if like 60% of these 80 posts are just spam, this isn't that great, though. On the old board when we had 4000 posts in a month, about 2000 were in the randomness section and 500 in the offtopic section. Now, there are 2000+ posts, but most are calc-related.

well the thing is that some of the staff kinda stopped coding when hired and only posted in the spam section. Altough I liked some of them, it seemed like the old team didn't really care that much about calc stuff.

That's too bad.  I'm glad that all the staff now has projects.

It is one of the requirements, isn't it? DJ experience is very good to the community, it is his work that keep this forum so great.

Yeah it is. And some minimum post rate to make sure staff won't just vanish completly during 5 months like what always happens anywhere else, altough most current staff have a much higher post rate than this (especially Ztrumpet and Builderboy )

Aside from Netham45+Tenniskid493 new year 2K7 spam (they wanted to get the last post of 2006 based on their timezones and flooded a topic in Randomness/Spam section), I don't think this happened in over 3 years.

I noticed the site takes slightly longer to load since the past few days from time to time, though

Now there's one thing I am curious about, though: The amount of page requests for starcraft.swf.

Also IIRC Techno Revolution is still the most downloaded file from our server after index.php, according to 1and1 page views stats last time I checked

I noticed your activity kinda dropped, as well as certain other people like Builderboy. I guessed it was due to exams or stuff, or that they are in vacation away from home due to Spring break.

Hi, I'm back for a day, some spare time.  We have band practice in 5:00 in the morning so I have been losing a lot of sleep, and have less time for hw, so less free time in general

Yeah i rarely have a big enough block of time to get on IRC.  With the forums i can post whenever i have a free moment.
