Underwood Distributing Company shipping 84+CSE already?
« on: March 08, 2013, 11:22:06 pm »
Anybody knows if Underwood Distributing Company is well known and legit? Because I saw that site pop up a few times before in the past few years from people linking to it and now I discovered that their 84+CSE page says the following:

Is the calc supposed to be out yet? Are they trying to sell us prototypes and such stuff? I wonder if anyone ever bought anything from there before and know if they're legit or if this could be a mistake?

They must have bought prototypes and are selling them.  Wouldn't TI announce that they're selling them or a bunch of people be selling them at the same time for it to be legit?
They say that your signature is supposed to go here...

Maybe 3-6-2013 is a date in D-M-YYYY format, as is usual in France and probably several other countries as well ?

And yeah, we're not aware that resellers are supposed to ship the 84+CSE yet.

They might not necessarily announce the exact release date at all. When the PRIZM came out, nobody knew until they saw it appear on Ebay.

Also if the site is based in USA (which is most likely the case, seeing the prices) it's most likely using M-D-YYYY format.

Maybe the calc is about to come out and they're just trying to get them delivered early so that on the official release day people can get them immediately?

But yeah it's still kinda weird since this seems to be the only site to have them in stock right now.

EDIT: They're based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States.
