Periodic table

http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=762

This is a Periodic table of the elements for the Nspire OS>=3.0. Fast, accurate and designed with care. The CX displays the different types of element (metals, nonmetals.. in a different color, the nonCX's only show the nonmetals and noble gasses in a different color (because of the 'bad' quality of greyscale). database includes:
Atomic number, relative weight, type, ionisation energy, elektronegativity, melting point, boiling point, density at 20°C, electron configuration, discovery, nr of natural isotopes, oxidation states, crystal structure, group, period and radioactivity.
It shows the crystal structure in a animated 3D form so you can perfectly see how it looks like. (most general form is shown).
A lot of thanks to LOIC PUJET (AKA Chockosta) for his TINY3D!

I thought about making one, but this is far better than anything I could possibly create.

Wow, I like the crystal formation viewer. Really nice job on this one!

One more reason to upgrade to 3.0 when ndless comes out. :D

"wirekey" at TI-Planet is starting to translate it in French, I believe.

Anyway, we've hosted it on TI-Planet also, citing ticalc.org as source since it was before you published it here.

congratz anyway :)

Nick :
I showed it to TI, and they really liked it (but when tested on the next version, it doesn't run without deleting the gc:setAlpha ... )
Can you update it to not use it anymore ? :)

do i use setalpha? i'll have a look and if so, i'll change it.. it would be nice if TI would use it xp

oh and chockosta, really thanks for tiny3D, it gives an extra dimension (get it?, dimension xp) to chemistry :)

wow, and a translation would be soooo awesome, i don't know all those names and specs in french, so thanks, maybe i could change it to dutch too

--edit--
i found the alpha, and i will directly upload the version wihtout the it, it was like gc:setAlpha(255) xs just a rest of some other coding i deleted, but i must have missed this one
and it has changed, so can you also change it on tiplanet?

Oh, by the way, I have a suggestion : it would be even better if the program displayed a little picture of the selected element.

how do you mean? of the element? the atom or a real view?

i also thought to add the light emission spectrum of each element, but that qould take up too much place i think

I have a suggestion: optional coloring, so users can toggle between coloring by metallic properties (what you have now), state at room temperature, electronegativity, and so on—like on http://www.ptable.com/ (click the Properties tab).

I want to thank Mic for the translation to french, and if someone feels the need to translate it to another language, feel free to do it, than mail me the source and i'll add it to the package.. it would be nice to have it in like 20 languages xp (just kidding about that 20..5 is also nice xp )

so now we have an english, a dutch an a french version. They will soon be added to the archives ot omnimaga, ticalc and tibank (maybe tiplanet too?)
