yeah, actually with xLIB I redid tr1p1ea walking and scrolling demo and with a bit of modding I could morph it into a jump and run engine

I dunno, I checked MC and didnt saw any mario topic from merthsoft, also I remember (from IRC logs) he said there was too many forums out there (which is true though) so I assume this means he will only post his progress at MC or in xLIB thread (too bad I will always be out of date
