Share the Planning Stages of your Game

If you want to write a great game, it's always a smart idea to plan ahead. For games with graphical content and such, a person will most likely take notes, sketch pictures and concept art, and write scratch code in order to gain the most information, knowledge and help needed in making his game.
Are there any development sketches, notes, etc. of a game you're working on that you would like to share?
Sadly, I've lost most of my sketches and concept art for S.A.D. 1 year old or less, but I did find a book I had made for a canceled version of a computer Seek and Destroy. Since I used this book to bring S.A.D. full speed ahead on the calculator, I will post stuff from that book on this topic sometime next week. You'll also find stuff I wanted to add, but had to remove due to Ti-83+ limits, time constraints and balance issues

Not really. I could find an old version of IQ, but it's just the map and character movement.

hmm... this is a good idea, I could keep myself motivated this way.
lets see, I'm going to add some sort of powerup to bomberman where you can get extra bombs, after I start adding a bomb limit. maybe another one to let you launch multiple bombs at once, and multiple enemies, which I have already tried but failed.

I can post some of my notes I've made when I get some time later. I don't remember all the ones I have but I have some from my RPGish game, that's currently on hold.

If I wanted to share what lead up to Nostalgia, I would have to remember about 5 different stories and type or write them up.
They all branched off my first calculator game, Fantasy Quest. It was never released and lost many a RAM clear ago. The closet thing I have to a copy of it is a half-finished attempt at recreating it. I've since lost the will to finish it, since it was a boring, near story-less text-based game, and Nostalgia is a more then capable replacement.

I'll put some pics up of my hand drawn pyyrix notes and level designs and maybe even some RandC concept sketches and notes O.o
I like to write things out before I code, but coding is ALWAYS right after so I can make sure something is possible.

You can find some notes from my old projects there:
http://ourl.ca/3573
I have more, though, like an handdrawn map of ROL1 overworld. I will never do this again, though, because it took way too long X.x
I also have other stuff I am sure (even from when I was LEGO-RP'ing in 1997-98 or so..

I can honestly say that I've never planned out a single game

To be honest, I never did either until 2003. Beforehand, I would just code and do the story as I progress. However this caused weird, undeveloped storylines in the Illusiat series. Not that I could develop much more, though, since I was limited in RAM.
Afterward I wrote my stuff on paper or Notepad.

It can't be as bad as mine, though.
My handwriting is better normally, but when I take notes or write drafts, I don't really try to make it look good, so usually only myself can read the stuff.
