Wow, that's gonna be a whole lot of entries. Lots of work ahead for news editors here for program features too
(assuming a lot makes news)

Also, I am curious, is there a size limit or anything? I am pretty sure that my BASIC entry is going to be massive o.o

nope, but if my BASIC project kicks off properly, I bet it will be awesome. It is not going to feature graphics or anything like that, but it should still be a really cool thing.

Ah ok. Make sure to let us know about it when it reaches presentable level (if not already)
(unless the contest disallows it)

I think it might be a good idea to let people do so (although I encourage participants to wait until their project is somewhat presentable, as in no crap such as "Hai gonna make crysis on-calc, gonna start coding title screen soon. Expect relese in one month!"), especially considering your contest seems to never end, because participants cannot work on their normal projects in the meantime and without being able to post about their entry progress, people might think those people are not coding anything at all anymore, not to mention this seems to be affecting forums activity greatly. You are allowed to post your project. Even today, like matrefeytontias on Espace-TI.

For the Omni contest we could actually post about our progress, but just not offer downloads until the deadline. For the Cemetech contest we were actually forced to create a topic about the project and download links were not allowed until judging was completed. I think the forcing people to create a topic and post occasional updates might be a good idea for next year's TI-Nspire contest on Omni, if any occurs (because almost all participants just vanished for 2 months and we didn't even know they were participating until the final day before the deadline).
