WOuldn't it be better to continue accepting people until the very end, though? Because some people might not be sure yet if they want to participate, especially due to lack of ideas or time, then suddenly, the last two weeks before the end of the contest they get a lot of unexpected free time, allowing them to work on a big entry. :/
