I regret to inform you that the TI-Nspire family handhelds do not support programming at this time. |

Lame. Pure and simple. What was TI thinking? They sparked a whole programming community with their products in the past. What's up with this move? |

This was TI's response to my "angry letter":
That's good. |

For some reasons I believe TI is not trying to make calc gaming fade away from calcs. It would be contradictory since they intended to make some TI-BASIC commands from older calcs usable in calc games (even though the language was slow a**)![]() But my TI manual date back in early 2001 (and it seems to be 1999 edition) so it has been a long while since they said this |

ah ok. I know the SE comes with a very small manual though and my 89t came with a 300 page manual with explained details, altough it sucks compared to the original 60-800 page TI-89 manual |

I actually learned TI-BASIC only from my big TI-83+ manual, nothing else, not even tutorials |

^^ Same here, except I have the regular 83 manual, not the +. If I had to guess, I'd say it has close to 400 pages. |

Will I be able to write programs on the TI-Nspire products? If so, what is the programming language? Will a software developer's kit be available? Currently, there are some programming capabilities (specifically function and program definition) on TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS. Increased programming functionally will be available in an operating system release expected to be available for download in early 2008. The programming language is TI-Basic. Be sure to update your handheld's operating systems regularly to receive these and other enhancements to functionality. |

No liazon, the 83+SE have a 58 page manual, and it doesn't even have a programming section |
