I just stumbled the internet a bit and found a calculator ti never released: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TI_PLT_SHH1
I never knew there was a calc ti canceled O.o why did they cancel it?

Well, this calc was a prototype to test lots of new features, but I guess they costed a lot and they just decided to make a TI-Nspire as we know it, then add features to it progressively.

There was going to be three of these, it was the PET project.  It was dumped for the nspire iirc.

The TI-Nspire still shares much design with the devices, for example with the Navigator stuff.
So it wasn't all for nothing :)
