Casio FX-991ES equally big case as Casio fx-85ES?
« on: December 15, 2014, 01:10:15 pm »
Hi!
I have a question, since in our country the 85ES is only allowed to use, but mine is broken.
The question now is: Does anyone know if the Mainboard,Display, Solar, etc. from a FX-991ES would fit in the case of a FX-85ES?
Also does anyone know a fx-8#ES Ver_A I could buy? Or where could I boy it from?
Sorry for my bad English :)
Yours Sincerly

Your English is better than that of some members here, so don't worry about it. Welcome to omnimaga. Enjoy your stay :)

I don't think it would be allowed to use the guts of a different kind of calculator. You either have to buy a new 85ES or ask if you can use the FX-991ES
If you like my work: why not give me an internet?

Ah, the good ol' case-swapping trick. I don't know if that is possible on those calculators, sadly, but I do remember people often swapped their TI-89 case with a TI-83 in the past.
