I know I'll stick up in any forum, as long as StarCalc is not finished (I hope I finish it some day)
You had better finish that game...
You could always get a playable version out before xlibman comes back, that would be one heck of a "welcome back" present.
It's already really impressive you know!
I know you're going to finish in the near future FallenGhost!

Although i understand why you're leaving, i can't say i agree with it. i feel that you can come and go on omnimaga when you want. if your free time is lacking or you don't feel like visiting much then your visits will be less, i dont see why you would make a concious decision to leave for a period of time. i can see you visiting less, but the only reason that i can think of that would warrant a decision to leave the community for a period of time is if you feel that it is your obligation to visit the site frequesntly unless you have said otherwise. Unless i am wrong, this is not the case. programming/sprting is not a job or an obligation... it should be a pastime that you can and when you want do when you can and never more*. Don't take this the wrong way, i mean no disrespect, i just want to do my part to keep the community together.
*unless you're making starcalc, then you have to work on it 24/7

i agree with dinotheone, if everyone did that when I left, this would kill the forums litterally.
Thanks to all those who stayed and contributed during my absence. In late march I was even surprised by the activity here, no matter how long it lasted. I know it may not be the same without me though, and I understand how lack of time may be restricting sometimes. I think the time deserved in the community for you should be the sites you started with or dedicated the most to (SFGP, Swivelgames and Cemetech I think?), like me since I quitted 83+ programming back in dec 17th (I only visit Omni and sometimes HRP and Tifreakware). That said, i cannot change your decision and I hope you will return. This is soon anyway, eh (July 3rd)?
(my apologies for not noticing this topic until today O_O
