A new different 3.0.2 Nspire OS
« on: November 04, 2011, 06:53:44 pm »
The 3.0.2 OS released on TI web site in may 2011 was the 3.0.2.1791 and included the same 3.0.1.131 Boot2 as the previous 3.0.1 OS.

But if you've bought a TI-Nspire CX CAS, it may come preloaded with a different 3.0.2 OS: 3.0.2.1793 from june 2011.
This one does include a new Boot2: 3.0.2.141.

Unlike the previous 3.0.2.1791 OS, this one has never been made available on TI website.
I've checked by modifying the version in the older 3.0.2 links and couldn't find it, although the older 3.0.2 OS is still online.

Photos and captures on TI-Planet:

To my knowledge there is currently no way of dumping this OS, as every of the 4 different methods I've used previously are unusable with OSes 3.0.2 and above.

Any idea/help would be appreciated.

Interesting, but sadly enough I don't have experience with dumping OS's :/

Remember the 3.0.2.1793 CX CAS OS? The one which comes preinstalled on CX CAS Nspire, but hasn't been released on TI website which skipped from 3.0.2.1791 to 3.1.0.392?

I finally managed to dump the 3.0.2.1793 CX CAS OS, with the 3.0.2.141 Boot2 and 3.0.2.141 Diags.

Get the OS and the Boot2 on TI-Planet:

Have you noticed any differences yet, such as ndless being blocked or something like?

Well, Ndless works on 3.1.0, which is later .So I don't think there is any problem :)

Today, the same 3.0.2.1793 OS for the non-CAS CX has been discovered and dumped.
