Anybody know of some Casio Prizm games I could try out?
« on: September 18, 2011, 11:58:01 am »
I recently got the casio prizm and wanted to see how well it can withstand games, but I can't seem to find any actual games beside minesweeper and a game much like the flash game 'tanks' (which is really fun on a calculator).

But I haven't seen any games other than those 2. If anybody could post some links to any games they know of for the prizm I would be happy to test them out and give feedback.

Thanks!

The Prizm contest has some interesting games this year. You can try them and vote for the best.

Welcome on the forums. Unfortunately there are not a lot of games yet, since the calc is pretty new and people are still discovering how to do stuff allowing games to be made.

There are a few Casio-BASIC games for the fx-9860 that will work, but when it comes to add-ins, I think you've tried all the games there are already.

You can try simple puzzle game I wrote (and didn't finish) some time ago. It was a proof of concept for my idea of Prizm simulator, so you can play the same game on both - calculator and PC (windows).

See this for details & download:

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)
